Dark-coated and low, the Ostheimer wolf is built for distance — a shy forest animal that belongs at the edge of any woodland scene. At 6 cm tall it has the lean, purposeful shape of the real animal. A natural companion for Ostheimer's forest and fairy-tale collections.

Hand-carved and hand-painted in Germany since 1976, each Ostheimer figure is shaped from sustainably sourced wood and finished with non-toxic, plant-based watercolours. No two pieces are identical.
